Germano Mendes De Paula completed his Dr.Sc. in Industrial and Technology Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1998, having done a post-doctorate (Visiting Research Fellow) at the University of Oxford (with a Research Scholarship from Banco Santos, 1999) and Columbia University (CAPES Research Scholarship, 2013). He is currently Full Professor at the Institute of Economics and International Relations (IERI) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Main publications: eight books (two as co-organizer), 24 book chapters, 439 articles in periodicals and magazines and 58 works in annals of events. Completed supervision: 18 master's dissertations (of which, one as a co-supervisor), 11 scientific initiation monographs and 96 course conclusion monographs.
